Honestly it'due south very forgiving and yous tin refine your early efforts.

I have an ottoman that was gifted to us in pretty rough shape. The leather was pretty flaky from an erstwhile cat pee stain. I was able to confidently treat and fix it with the instructional video and soft filler! It was very satisfying to exercise! I was able to manage doing this with 3 large dogs, 3 cats (major culprits of damaging furniture), and three kids 3 and under!
I wish I recorded my husbands face up when he saw the ottoman after fixing it.
I did a color alter besides and I forgot to utilize a wet sponge at first... so follow all instructions haha. I love these products and this visitor!

I wanted my mom to hang on to her 25 twelvemonth old stressless chair, merely the arms were in really deplorable shape. One arm had a large hole and both had severe cracking from years of wear. I used the subpatch kit, the leather filler repair kit, the leather mucilage and the biscuit leather end. The transformation was miraculous to say the to the lowest degree. I've included a before and after photo. The "before" photo doesn't tell the whole story because I took it afterwards gluing in the subpatch. The hole was gaping with stuffing coming out. Anybody in the family is amazed at the results. RubnRestore is the best!!!

Using the filler was extremely like shooting fish in a barrel. I did 3 light coats as per the video. It dried adequately rapidly. When I added the colorant, I could nevertheless see the filler. I didn't desire to add together another coat of colorant, and so I can see where I made the repairs. But it always like that when it is your own work. The texture of that sections is not the aforementioned as the residue of the couch simply information technology is an 85% improvement.

I wanted to thank y'all both for existence there when I had questions regarding a recent project I did for my neighbour. For years he had wanted his society chairs to be presentable, but the high quotes he was getting stunted his hopes. He and I are both in our mid 60's with senior bug about money. I was able to provide him a fair quote due to the reasonable cost of your products. I accept had previous success using your products but one his chairs was going to be extremely difficult. One of his family members named Kasha; a 120 lb.German Shepard had claimed the chair. I used your filler scratch repair kit and cherrywood and satin sealer and the consequence was remarkable.

Used on xix year quondam leather vehicle seats out of a junk m and they turned out as shut to new as possible with old very worn and ripped seats. Shown are forepart drivers and rider seats have not got to the backseat still.

Very happy with this product! I was swindled into buying a "leather" couch. 3 years in and the couch started to skin. Chili pepper dye, soft filler and glaze was perfect. Trick is to go slow, program on many days to do it right, and don't over texture. I will be a returning customer! Before, during, and after below!

I was skeptical that I could pull this off. I accept two dearest seats that had several cracks in the vinyl and in need of new color. I had considered having them reupholstered merely the cost is so high. I fabricated the repairs with the Soft Filler then recolored them with the Walnut Dye. I finished up with the Articulate Prep and Stop and I couldn't be happier with the results!

I had bought the sub patch and filler kits. The sub patch kit worked dandy and the filler kit just likewise. I had everything I needed to ready my leather sofa from a reckless child with a cigarette. Then I used the filler to get over some stitching that nosotros had done on said sofa equally one of the seams was coming apart. After the stitching was done you lot could come across a footling fleck then I used the filler over the stitching and and so colored it my paint. Information technology looks great.

I repaired two vinyl chairs and an ottoman using the filler. Information technology works, merely it is very tricky to match the texture of the original vinyl. My patches of filler turned out to exist likewise smoothen with creases or lines at the edges. While working with it, I noticed that if you lot accept off the gloves and use your fingertips to plume and texture the filler, it matches amend. With the dye it withal looks a lot meliorate than before!!

This was my first time repairing leather equally well every bit using this product. I was amazed at the transformation of my antique chair! The product filled in beautifully and the only flaws were due to my inexperience at texturizing the final layer (although others didn't see any problems with my repair job). I was glad to have the pieces in the kit for this first task since I didn't have all the sandpaper choices already. I didn't use as much filler as I idea merely programme to repair some other chair with it.

We had 3 fairly skilful size holes in one of our leather sofas and I was able to repair the holes using the subpatches and the filler. I used the entire container of filler and did three-iv layers each. Was never able to get it to look perfectly smooth even after much sanding just with the dye, it is substantially ameliorate and we won't have to splurge on a new gear up yet. Cheers!
