May I ask iii questions? 1. Is this a normal state of affairs? 2. What sort of chafe resistant lines should I utilize? and most importantly, 3. Is there a simple way of threading the lines through the internal part of the rudders, something that looks like a difficult task. My transmission simply states "thread lines through." Your assist would be appreciated! | Re: Prindle 16 Rudder Repair [Re: Andrew2003] #18373 04/07/03 xi:xi AM 04/07/03 xi:xi AM | Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 89 Socal nesdog journeyman | journeyman Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 89 Socal | Information technology sounds to me like something is rubbing a bit too much if yous went through the lines that fast...unless you lot are lucky plenty to sail everyday and just plain wore them out! I haven't replaced the lines on my P-18 in a looooong fourth dimension. To thread the line, I utilise a straightened out wire hanger. It goes through the stop of the tube hands.
